In a desperate attempt to give John Kerry a charisma transplant, we now have Dan Quayle Lite. Just what the Democrats need. An ultra-liberal trial lawyer, whose picture should be in the dictionary by the definition of "ambulance chaser." As the Boston Herald headlined, "THEY'RE LEFT OF TED!" A candidate who once asked, "Who is that?" when Yitzhak Rabin was mentioned.
John Edwards has not accomplished anything as a first-term senator. He joined John Kerry in voting for the Iraq war, but like Kerry voted against paying for it. He has Quayle's good hair, but not his legislative experience. He won't even carry his home state for Kerry, and probably could not even be re-elected for a second term in the Senate. Do you think it is true that Karl Rove has been moonlighting in the Kerry campaign?
